Former Milan star Kaka speaks out on Ballon d'Or and Virgil Van Dijk

Former AC Milan and Real Madrid star Ricardo Kaka thinks Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk deserves to win Ballon d'Or this season. Dutch international's incredible season has made him one of the favourites for the prestigious trophy alongside with Barcelona star Lionel Messi. The vital battle between those players ended up with Merseyside club's incredible comeback at Anfield and following win in the final against Tottenham. "We will see what happens in the future. Would I give the Ballon d’Or to Virgil van Dijk? I had some discussions talking about it with friends and with my brother and the name we chose is really his," said Kaka, who has won Ballon d'Or back in 2007.
