Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke has sent a message of support to his former club Liverpool after Champions League semi-finals and ahead of the final match.
Merseyside club managed to make an incredible comeback against Barcelona after beating La Liga champions 4-0 (4-3 on agg.) at Anfield Road when Divock Origi and Gini Wijnaldum scored twice each.
Liverpool’s opponent in the final match, Tottenham, followed Merseyside club’s example and made another fantastic remontada after beating Ajax 2-3 in Amsterdam (3-3 on agg.)
“Never seen a set of semi finals like that ever! I’d only just got my head around last night! I know who I’ll be supporting in the final! #YNWA” Benteke has posted on twitter.
