Former football player believes - 'Chelsea are top, Liverpool lead the stats, but Man City 'will win the title'

Former Aston Villa star Gabriel Agbonlahor admits he has been surprised by this year's Premier League games and has also provided his verdict on the final results. Agbonlahor believes Liverpool are currently playing their best football leading all the stats. However he believes that they don't have squad diversity as Manchester City does.
“They’ve been outstanding, you know what sort of football they’re going to play but Liverpool’s test is going to be maybe around the Christmas period.   “If they were to be unlucky and lose Mohamed Salah for instance I think that’d make a massive difference in their team. Whereas if Manchester City lose one of their attacking players, they’ve got adequate replacements."
The former Villa man has admitted that despite Chelsea's strong squad, City will be the favourites for the title.
“I think City have been outstanding, they’re playing the best football.   “They look like the best organised side in the Premier League, they’re battering teams, they’re out-playing teams and for me they’re looking like the favourites because even with a couple of injuries they’ve still got the replacements to come in, unlike Liverpool."
The 35-year-old think Pep Guardiola's side won't be making any signings as their squad is already top.
“I can’t see them making any January signings at all. I feel that they’ve created a new brand of football where you don’t need a striker you know you look at other teams that are playing some strikers that are not performing.   “City have got players that can score from anywhere, Joao Cancelo’s goal in the Champions League last week where he ran through… outstanding goal so I think Manchester City will be fine in the transfer window.   “I think they might wait until the summer then try and have a bidding war for Erling Haaland.   “I think Manchester City will win the title, I think they’ll win it because they’ve got the biggest squad.   “They’ve got a subs bench with Riyad Mahrez who hasn’t played once, Ferran Torres has got to come back from injury and they’ve got players like Raheem Sterling, and they’ve got Gabriel Jesus sometimes. Their squad is going to be the key to them winning the title.   “It’s a long season, you know all three of the teams will go far in the Champions League. Manchester City will use their squad the best and their players will get the most rest as well.”
