Former Bayern Munich manager makes Leroy Sane Man City transfer claim

Former Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes believes Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is "overpriced" in the current market. Sane has been heavily linked with the German champions. Last summer he was on the verge of joining them before a knee injury against Liverpool in the Community Shield sidelined him for several months and scuppered the deal. Bayern are expected to revive their interest in the former Schalke attacker in the upcoming window. Heynckes believes he needs to become more consistent if he is to be classed as a top player. "For me, he has not yet made a breakthrough to an absolute top player," Heynckes told Bild . "I think this is a player at a crossroads. Will he keep working hard on himself, or will he remain just as an exceptional talent? "He has to be ready to make the next big step. Because there is no use in flashing the talent from time to time. I also honestly tell you that I don't consider the price justifiable." Source: MEN
