Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s contract with Arsenal is set to expire in the summer of 2021 and according to Calciomercato, Mkhitaryan’s next destination could become AC Milan.
While according to some reports, Russian team Zenit is also interested in Mkhitaryan.
After the reports that Mkhitaryan could be leaving Arsenal,
Football London journalist Charles Watts has spoken out on the midfielder's place in the team.
''I like Mkhitaryan, I think he has been an excellent player - but I’m not convinced he is really going to be part of Arsenal’s long-term plans," said Watts.
Mkhitaryan has been ruled out by foot injury rules for six weeks. He was injured during the Carabao Cup defeat by Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium but the player is already back to training.
