Five strikers Tottenham could sign this summer to finally ease their dependence on Harry Kane

Harry Kane is one of the magnificent centre-forward in European football. This season so far, he has scored 17 goals and contributed 2 assists in his 25 outings for Tottenham Hotspur. However, he hasn’t played since January, as the player suffered a hamstring injury in December.

Acceding those fact, that Tottenham hopes of top-four finish have disappeared when Kane suffered an injury, we can assume the England international is essential for Spurs.

Jose Mourino may now be aiming to sign a striker, who can be a back-up option for Kane, moreover, they need to sign a striker, if Kane decides to leave the club.

Maxi Gomez, Valencia

The 23-year-old joined Valencia from Celta de Vigo and his contract with the club ends in 2024. He has created 4 assists and has scored 9 goals for Valencia in 35 outings so far this season.

Marcus Thuram, Borussia Monchengladbach

Thuram, 22, joined Borussia Monchengladbach from Guingamp. His deal with the club expires in 2023. In 33 appearances so far this season, he has scored 10 goals and has created 9 assists.

Milot Rashica, Werder Bremen

Rashica joined Werder Bremen from Vitesse. His contract with the club expires in 2022. He has made 24 appearances for Werder this season so far, has scored 10 goals and has created 5 assists.

Josh Maja, Bordeaux

Maja, 21, joined Bordeaux from Sunderland. His deal with the club ends in 2023. In 24 appearances so far, the player has scored 8 goals and has created 3 assists.

Moussa Dembele, Lyon

Dembele is well known for Premier League fans. Chelsea have been interested in the player, however, failed to sign him January. Dembele has made 42 outings for Lyon this season so far, he has scored 22 goals and has contributed 7 assists.
