"Fit and available": Mikel Arteta says Arsenal man is ready to play against Newcastle

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Folarin Balogun is now "fit and available". The 19-year-old has been recently linked with the move away from the Emirates Stadium as he has still not signed a new contract with the Gunners. However, Arteta has admitted the youngster could be included in the club's first-team squad for the weekend when they face Newcastle United in the FA Cup. “He is fit and available,” the manager said. “Again, his progression and the use of the time that he’s had with us has been incredible. He will keep having chances while he’s with us.”
