Ferran Torres is set to seal a €27m (£24.5m) move to Manchester City from Valencia as the forward met the club’s sporting director Txiki Begiristain, in Barcelona on Tuesday.
Leroy Sane’s move to Bayern Munich caused head coach Pep Guardiola to move for a replacement with the likes of Valencia forward.

The Guardian, Torres met Begiristain to complete the the move and it should be confirmed shortly. In November Torres became Valencia’s youngest player to feature in 50 La Liga games.
The Citizens are also expected to complete the signing of Nathan Aké in the coming days. Last week Bournemouth accepted a bid of about £40m for the 25-year-old Netherlands international.
