John McEnroe believes Novak Djokovic is the favourite to win Wimbledon, backing the Serb ahead of great rivals Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
The top trio have dominated for well over a decade now and have amassed an astonishing 53 Grand Slam titles between them.
McEnroe is expecting the 15-time Grand Slam champion to win the tournament.
Djokovic first up on centre court and he will face Philipp Kohlschreiber.
“Yeah, it’s hard not to pick the obvious guys but I think the chasing pack are getting closer, so maybe someone like [Stefanos] Tsitsipas could be in with a shot,” he told GQ. “He’s got the goods to go all the way. But it’s hard not to pick Novak at the moment… that would be the obvious choice.”
