Liverpool gifted a goal to former Reds player Ryan Babel in their 2-1 win over Fulham.
During the game, Liverpool fans have noticed something that Babel did.
The Reds held a 1-0 lead at Craven Cottage for most of the game thanks to Sadio Mane's goal. But they almost surrendered two points to their opponents after a slip-up from Virgil van Dijk and Alisson. Van Dijk tentatively headed the ball back to his goalkeeper. However, his weak pass was stolen by Babel before it could reach Alisson, rounding the Brazilian and putting the ball in the back of the net.
Babel didn’t appear to be in any rush to score, despite having an open goal to aim at, and looked regretful after finally softly passing the ball into the back of the net. The Dutchman also didn't celebrate the goal with his team-mates and simply raised his hands in an emotionless manner. (via
