Fabrizio Romano says Arsenal have opened talks to sign £7m-rated colossus, deal hinges on one major issue

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Arsenal's pursuit of Andre Onana. Ajax goalkeeper has been linked with the move to the Emirates Stadium for the summer transfer window. Romano has confirmed that the Gunners are still interested in the keeper, however, it depends on his suspension. “Yes, contacts are ongoing. They are awaiting for the decision surrounding the ban of Onana, to see how long it will be," the journalist said during his Here We Go podcast. "Arsenal are still in talks with the agents of Onana. They are really keen, they think he is the perfect goalkeeper. But the suspension will be key to see if they go for Onana.”
