Fabrizio Romano reports Newcastle United are keen on 20-year-old defender

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Newcastle United are keen on signing Benoît Badiashile. According to the well-respected transfer expert, the Magpies are interested in the 20-year-old defender after Sven Botman's deal collapsed. Romano also stated that Premier League rivals West Ham United are also willing to sign the youngster. Following today’s medical tests, AS Monaco expect Badiashile to be back with the team in 2-3 weeks. Nothing agreed yet, but timing will be key to understand next steps, as the Italian noted.
