Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Manchester City star Raheem Sterling amid exit talks.
The England international has been recently linked with the move away from Etihad, with Barcelona reportedly interested in the attacker’s services.
According to Romano, City need to “make a decision” over Sterling’s future at the club. In case of signing a new deal, the 26-year-old will continue his playing spell with the Citizens, while failed contract extension will see him leaving the club next summer.
#ManCity ‘need to make a decision’ on Raheem Sterling: Extend his contract, or sell next summer. If @ManCity extend his deal before May 2022, he will stay and be part of the project. If not, Sterling has ‘serious chances’ of leaving the club next summer.
