Fabrizio Romano provides update on Olivier Giroud to AC Milan

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Olivier Giroud to AC Milan links. Giroud signed a one-year contract extension at Chelsea as his contract was due to expire, however, he has been linked with a move from the Blues.

During the 2020/2021 season, the 34-year-old made 31 appearances in which he scored 11 goals.

Romano providing an update on the player, wrote on Twitter: “Olivier Giroud is expected to fly to Milano this week in order to complete his move to AC Milan. Contract agreed until June 2023. #ACMilan

“Chelsea will receive €1m guaranteed fee + €1m as potential bonus/add on. #CFC.”
