Fabrizio Romano provides update on Newcastle's pursuit of Jesse Lingard

Newcastle United will push again in order to sign Jesse Lingard from Manchester United, according to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano. The Magpies have been linked with the Red Devils' attacker for the January transfer window. Romano claims that the negotiations are ongoing between the two sides. Newcastle board are eager to reach an agreement and sign the player at least until the end of the season. Lingard's current deal at Old Trafford expires in the summer of 2022.
