Fabrizio Romano provides update on Mesut Ozil and Arsenal's pursuit of Emi Buendia

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Mesut Ozil amid Fenerbahce talks. Ozil, whose contract with Arsenal expires at the end of this season, has not played a single minute during this season and has been linked with a move. Romano also provided an update on the Gunners pursuit of Emi Buendia. Writing on his Twitter, Romano said: "Mesut Özil is expected to sign his contract as new Fenerbahçe player on Monday. Arsenal are now planning to sell also Papastathopoulos in the coming days, then they’ll work on new signings. Emi Buendia: contacts with his agent but no official bid from #AFC, as of today." Papastathopoulos has also been given limited playing time this season and his contract also expires at the end of the season.
