Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Martin Odegaard's future at Arsenal. Odegaard joined the Gunners in the January transfer window from Real Madrid on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has been impressive since his loan move and Mikel Arteta's side want to keep him on permanent. During this season the attacking midfielder has made four Europa League appearances as well as 8 Premier League appearances having scored two goals for the Gunners.
Taking to Twitter, Romano wrote: "Arsenal are “so happy” with Martin Ødegaard impact on the pitch as during trainings, they will try to keep him.
"Arsenal will talk with Real Madrid at the end of the season, Zinedine Zidane’s future will be key to take a final decision about Ødegaard."
