Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Diogo Dalot’s future at Manchester United, claiming the club are “more than happy” with the player’s performances.
The Portuguese professional has been linked with the move away from Old Trafford, having found his playing time limited at the team. AS Roma and Borussia Dormtund were among the sides interested in the right-back’s services.
However, any deal didn’t materialise, while the club’s injury crisis in defence was another opportunity for the 22-year-old to show his skills on the pitch.
Now, according to Romano, Dalot has become a key player in the Red Devils coach Ralf Rangnick’s squad.
Manchester United are 'more than happy' with Diogo Dalot performances. AS Roma wanted him for January but nothing was agreed – he's now key player for Rangnick. Borussia Dortmund bid was turned down last summer. 🔴🇵🇹 #MUFC
