Fabrizio Romano provides transfer boost over Arsenal's pursuit of Martin Odegaard

Arsenal have reportedly prepared to make a bid to sign Martin Odegaard on a permanent deal. The Norway international has long been linked with a permanent move to north London after successful loan spell last season. And according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Gunners are ready to make a bid for Odegaard, as he’s always been transfer sporting director Edu and manager Mikel Arteta’s priority as number 10. Should Real Madrid give a green light Arsenal will make a move for the 22-year-old. Houssem Aouar is also on Arsenal's shortlist, while James Maddison has not been as top target.
