Italian journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided a transfer update on Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus joined Manchester City in 2017 and his contract with the club expires next summer. The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from City.
Arsenal and several other Premier League sides are reportedly eyeing Gabriel Jesus.
Amid the speculations ahead of the summer transfer window, Romano said that Jesus still wants to leave City and the expectation is for him to join a Premier League side.
Romano wrote on Twitter: “Gabriel Jesus deal. He still wants to leave Man City and the expectation is for Gabriel to join a Premier League club this summer, official bids will arrive soon.
“Real Madrid had some contacts few weeks ago to explore situation but still nothing advanced, as of now.”
