Fabrizio Romano provides contract update on Emile Smith Rowe

  Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Emile Smith Rowe's contract at Arsenal. Smith Rowe, whose contract with the Gunners expires in June 2023, has been having an impressive season. During this season the youngster has made 35 appearances in which he has scored 7 goals and provided 7 assists. According to Romano, the Gunners are working since March to extend his contract. Romano wrote on Twitter: "Arsenal are working since March to extend Emile Smith-Rowe’s contract, there’s ‘optimism’ to complete the agreement soon. The player is happy and open to stay - five years contract on the table."
