Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Manchester City's pursuit of Mateo Kovacic. City are currently interested in signing Kovacic from Chelsea.
According to Romano, the Blues and City are at the final stages of the deal. City's first approach was for €25m, however, the Blues want at least €30m.
Romano states that this could change if Pep Guardiola's side decide to enter the race for Declan Rice. Currently, Arsenal are leading the race for Rice.
