Fabrizio Romano claims Manchester United star was disappointed at Champions League snub

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Manchester United's Diogo Dalot wants to play football and will consider a move. Recently Dalot gave an interview to The Telegraph insisting he was happy at United and would be patient in his quest for game time. However, everything else seems to point to the opposite being true, with the 22-year-old yet to start a single Premier League match this season. Speaking to Rio Ferdinand’s Vibe With Five, Romano said:
“Mourinho wants to try for Diogo Dalot in January, Dalot wants to play, it’s a really similar situation to Donny van de Beek. He loves the club he loves the atmoshere but he wants to play.   “He was really disappointed after the game with Atalanta, he was hoping to play, because of Italy after spending a great season at AC Milan last year on loan. So let’s see, Diogo Dalot will fight for Manchester United to the last day, he is super professional.”
The Red Devils lined up away at Atalanta in a 3-5-2 before switching to a back four once Raphael Varane got injured. Aaron Wan-Bissaka was preferred, with Dalot spending the game on the bench. His disappointment was obvious because a good game in Italy could have put him in the shop window. Source - United In Focus Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
