Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Eric Garcia’s move to Barcelona is “confirmed.”

Manchester City man was heavily linked with the reunion with his boyhood club last year, though the deal didn’t materialize.

However, now, according to Romano, Garcia is set to return to the Spanish club as his current deal with the Citizens expires this summer.

“Yes, Eric Garcia will be the first signing, everything is confirmed. Many times we were hearing about a lot of problems. But it’s not like this. They just had to complete everything by the official part, but it was signed. The contract was signed since December,” the journalist said on the Here We Go podcast.

“So, Eric always wanted to join Barcelona, and all the clubs were involved in the race like Paris Saint-Germain or Arsenal no one, has always been all Barcelona. So, Eric will be the first signing, will be announced at the end of the season.”
