Fabian Delph to request to leave Manchester City for Everton

Fabian Delph is set to request to leave Manchester City if he wishes to force through a move to Everton, Metro.co.uk claims. Delph has made just 11 appearances and will soon be given even less playing time following Rodri’s move from Atletico Madrid. Delph has a year left on his existing deal at The Etihad and has been competition for places intensify in Pep Guardiola’s squad over the summer. Should Delph be available, Everton will offer an option. The club has been pursuing younger, up-and-coming talent since the arrival of Marco Silva and Director of Football Marcel Brands.
