Fabian Delph: "The dream is still alive"

Versatile midfielder Fabian Delph has insisted that he was always confident England could make a big impression at the 2018 World Cup. "We knew what we were capable of," he told Sky Sports News. "I think after the Costa Rica game I said how impressed how I was with the boys and what I thought we could accomplish. "We've managed to do that, so the dream is still alive and the end goal is still there for us. Hopefully, we can keep pushing." Delph has played in three of England's five World Cup matches, including the final 13 minutes against Sweden in the quarter-finals.
