Tottenham have failed in their appeal of Son Heung-min’s red card against Chelsea.
The South Korean was dismissed in the second half of Sunday’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea when VAR showed him kicking out at Antonio Rudiger in retaliation to being fouled.
Spurs boss announced they will appeal the decision.
However, the appeal has now been confirmed unsuccessful.
The FA’s decision to uphold the red card means Son will miss Spurs’ next three games against Brighton (Boxing Day), Norwich (Saturday) and Southampton (New Year’s Day).
