Oleksandr Zinchenko talks exclusively about the Premier League title race, the Champions League, his injury, and Paul Scholes' comments on full-back playing in the center.
Arsenal are enjoying a fantastic season thus far, as they are now third in the Premier League standings and have advanced to the Champions League round of 16.
Arsenal's recent win against Liverpool (3:1) put them back into the title race.
Mikel Arteta's side is on track to "win" a double this season; nonetheless, the campaign is still ongoing, and the future looks optimistic.
VBETnews spoke exclusively with Oleksandr Zinchenko. Speaking about the title race, the Gunners star said that "it is very difficult" to predict who will win the league.
"It is very difficult to say who will be fighting as the Premier League is the most intense league in the world, and we need to be focused on our game and do our best," Zinchenko told VBETnews.

The Gunners are currently undefeated against "Big Six" teams, having played 3 wins and 3 draws so far this season. However, the Ukrainian international says that it is not only about the "Big Six".
Zinchenko added, "It is not only about the "Big Six", every game is difficult and we need to adapt to every opponent and make sure that we will be ready for each of them."

Zinchenko is capable of playing as a midfielder. He can play at left back and in central midfield. He prefers to move towards the center of the pitch to create space and chances for the players around them.
"I answered that question many times, but I am going to say that wherever my manager sees me, I am ready to play anywhere, even in goal," said Zinchenko.

However, former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes recently slammed Oleksandr Zinchenko after Arsenal defeated Nottingham Forest 2-1.
The former Red Devils legend was not happy seeing Zinchenko step into the Arsenal midfield from left-back, as he often does for the Gunners.
During the match, Paul Scholes wrote on Instagram: "A full-back coming into central midfield is an insult to a central midfield player..."
Speaking on Scholes' statement, Zinchenko said, "Everyone got their own opinion but I will keep doing everything that is needed and asked from my manager."

The Gunners will seek to narrow the gap at the top of the league with a victory against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
However, Zinchenko is reportedly doubtful for Arsenal's Premier League clash due to a calf injury.
The Ukrainian was replaced at halftime against Liverpool, and after the match, Mikel Arteta confirmed he felt his calf.
"We don't know. He had some feeling in his calf again, and we had to take him off.", said Arteta.
Giving an update on his own injury, Zinchenko said: "I will try to come back as soon as possible to help my team".
UEFA Champions League hopes...
14 years later, Arsenal will meet Porto again in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
The Gunners, who were under Arsene Wenger's management at the time, defeated their opponents 6-2 on aggregate to advance to the next round.
Can Arsenal repeat the same path this time?
Speaking on the last-16 opponent, Zinchenko told VBETnews: "In play-offs, every team is strong, so you can't underestimate any team now; we need to show our best football and carry on."

Meanwhile, Oleksandr Zinchenko is not only "thinking" about the Premier League race and the UEFA Champions League trophy.
Ukraine national football team are still fighting to clinch their spot in the Euro 2024 final stages.
Serhiy Rebrov's side will square battle against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Euro 2024 playoff Path B semi-finals, as they are eager to make up for the disappointment of missing out on last year's FIFA World Cup.
Speaking on the Euro 2024 play-offs opponent, Zinchenko said: "They are tough team to play, and I am sure that our team are capable of going through, and our manager with his team will know what to do."
The winners of Path B will be included in Group E along with Belgium, Slovakia, and Romania in the EUROs.
As previously stated, the Gunners are aiming for a double this season, and the Arsenal star was asked to choose the option of winning the Premier League title or the Champions League trophy with Arsenal.
His answer was simple: "Both".
