Greece national team and Hoffenheim left back Konstantinos Stafylidis has revealed he had a bet with teammate Sargis Adamyan.
Speaking exclusively with Vbetnews, Stafylidis said
“I told him (before the game) that we’re going to win by two goals. If not, I have to pay some dinner for him, so now I have to go back and pay a dinner for him, because we won 1-0.”
Stafylidis, who has joined Hoffenheim from Augsburg has also spoken on team’s performances so far and goals for the season.
“We have 6 wins in last 6 games, with Adamayn (laughs). His my best friend.
“We are doing quite good in past one and a half month. We are happy for that, we are working hard and we have the result, and that is important.
“We want to be in Top – 5, we have the quality and the players to make it.
Greece beat Armenia 1-0. Adamyan didn’t play for his national team.
Both Greece and Armenia don’t have chances for Euro – 2020 qualification.
