EXCLUSIVE: Felix Correia reveals he SIGNED a contract with Manchester City and speaks out on Pep Guardiola

Sporting Lisbon winger Felix Correia has signed a contract with Manchester City, the player has announced in an exclusive interview with Vbetnews.com. Correia is currently on international duty with his Portugal U-19 side as they are playing in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship alongside Spain, Armenia and Italy in Yerevan, Armenia. Portugal U-19 side already played two games during the competition. They beat Italy U-19 side in their first game, with the score of 3-0. Correia scored a goal during the match and created an assist for his teammate Goncalo Ramos. However, probably the most important group stage game for Filipe Ramos' side ended with a 1-1 draw against Spain U19 side. "It was a very important game for us and we wanted to win, but we draw. But still, our possibilities remain open to qualifying for the play-off round," said Correia. The Portuguese side is the remaining champion of the tournament and they are one of the favourites to win the trophy in Yerevan. "We are focused on now, the games are not the same and we just want to win the next game and then we'll think about winning the whole tournament," the 18-year-old added. Correia admits if they will be in the final than he would like to play against France U-19 side. The 18-year-old, who scored seven goals in 20 games for Sporting’s under-19 team this season, will continue the job of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani and Luis Figo. The technically excellent player is very quick; he has an excellent dribbling ability and can play on both flanks. Correia has been linked with Barcelona, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund but decided to join Manchester City. "I signed a deal for Manchester City. But I'm fully focused on this championship," said the 18-year-old. " I'm looking forward to working hard and join the main team." On Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, Correia added: "I admire him a lot. The few times that I talked to him I was really impressed. I'm eager to start working with him." Their last group stage game Portugal U-19 side will play against hosts Armenia, in the Republican Stadium, on Saturday, July 20. Author-Alla Zakaryan
