Former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher believes there was a little push by Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson against Liverpool defender Joe Gomez during the match at Anfield Road.
Bournemouth striker used his hands to win the ball from Gomez and then started the attack of his team, that led to the first goal.
He wrote on
Sky Sports: "The referee said on the day he didn't think it was a foul, I saw him talking to James Milner afterwards. It's not offside, there's no doubt about that, and when the VAR looks at it they didn't think there was enough of a push for it to be a clear and obvious error."
"It's a little push, if he gives a foul you wouldn't argue, but he plays on and didn't think it was a foul. I thought it was a little push, some people would give it but some wouldn't."
Meanwhile, Liverpool are only 6 points away from their first Premier League title in 30 years.
Jurgen Klopp's team will face Everton at Goodison Park after the Atletico Madrid match.
