Ex-Manchester United star speaks out on Liverpool title chances

Former Manchester United star Dion Dublin has spoken out on EPL title race this season. After 23 matches Liverpool have 60 points, while Manchester City are 4 point behind their rivals. He said during Match of the Day show (via LiverpoolECHO): “I believe that City have the best squad in the league and possibly are the strongest team in the league,” Dublin said. “But at this present time, because of where Liverpool are, I'm with Danny. I think Liverpool have got that ascendancy. "The thing that has been the difference this year for Liverpool is not conceding. Yesterday they conceded three goals at home which isn't great. As a manager in this situation, you'd rather win 1-0 than concede three goals. "I'm hoping it is just one of those days that happen and can happen at any point in the season. I still think that you'd rather be in Liverpool's shoes than Man City's as Pep has said. "It's going to be nip and tuck. "it's impossible to look at the fixtures that remain and pick out the easier games. It never has been like that and never will be like that. The two managers will get fed up asking the same questions. "When you're in that situation with a team going for the championship all you can concentrate on, the old cliche in football, the next game is important and when we get to the other side of that game then you address the issues. That's as far as you look. "If you have a chance I'd rather be in Liverpool's shoes with their four-point advantage. Hopefully, it was just a blip yesterday. "Man City have an opportunity to win four trophies, that is what you want. You've got Aguero, you've got Jesus, you've De Bruyne."
