It was not the best night for the former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Mignolet’s Brugge faced Anderlecht, captained by Vincent Kompany.
In the second half Anderlecht fans started to throw flare at ex-Merseyside club goalkeeper, who has been noticing covering his eyes after the flare started to spark in front of him.
Meanwhile, ex-Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany intervened to disgust his own fans for their attitude towards Mignolet.
The Professional Referee Department was pleased to see a positive reaction of respect and fair play during #ANDCLU. 👏💪
