Ex-Liverpool star Luis Suarez won't return to Premier League – unless the club makes offer

Luis Suarez is happy at Atletico Madrid after helping Diego Simeone's team to win their first La Liga title since 2014, but he's not against the idea of returning to former club Liverpool in the future. Uruguayan professional has revealed why he's not coming back to Premier League – unless Liverpool make an approach. Alongside captain Steven Gerrard, Suarez did his best to bring the trophy to Anfield but it didn't happen. And then El Pistolero left the Reds in the same summer in 2014 to form a deadly trio with Lionel Messi and Neymar at Barcelona, snatching some great trophies together. After being discarded 12 months ago, the Uruguayan linked up with Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid, where his 21 goals in 32 league matches helped them win the first Spanish title in seven seasons. Suarez is currently happy in Madrid, but in an interview with World Soccer Magazine, he didn't totally deny the idea of returning to Liverpool at some point in the future. “Playing for any team other than Liverpool in England would be hard,” he said. “I had, and hope I still do have, such a good relationship with Liverpool fans that it would be strange for me to play for somebody else.” The 34-year-old forward spent four seasons at Anfield, scoring 82 goals in 133 appearances.
