Ex-Leicester City defender Paul Konchesky predicts where the Foxes will finish the campaign

Former Leicester City defender Paul Konchesky has backed Brendan Rodger's side to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League this season after their incredible start. The Foxes are currently sitting top of the league after beating Manchester City. Leicester are hoping to make up for the disappointment of missing out on a top-four finish last term. Konchesky, speaking to Caught Offside, believes this will be the year they bring Champions League football back to the King Power. “It’s still early days and anything can happen,” the former defender said. “I think they have started unbelievably this season and there seems to be a great team spirit there, which goes a long way. I definitely think they can break their duck and creep into the top four this season.” Leicester star James Maddison has been subjecting of the speculation but he has signed a new deal at the King Power. However, Konchesky believes that if he has another impressive season, then it will be a matter of time before firm bids are incoming. “I am surprised clubs haven’t shown massive interest (in Maddison),” Konchesky told Caught Offside. “But I think if he has another fantastic season then it could be a different kettle of fish.”
