Everton's Lucas Digne opens up about his ambitions and Carlo Ancelotti's impact

Everton left-back Lucas Digne has talked about his ambitions and new head coach Carlo Ancelotti's impact. As the Premier League is suspended due to the COVID-19 crisis, the 26-year-old has admitted he cannot wait to be back on the pitch. “I am like a lion in a cage when we speak about football,” Digne said in an interview with talkSPORT. “But I want to stay positive – I can see my son every day and can do a lot with him. “I have the motivation. I am lucky because I know my situation and I just want to be ready when we are back on the pitch.” When asked about Duncan Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti’s impact, the Toffees' left-back replied: “I think they gave a lot of confidence to the players and we needed that. “Dunc did a really good a job when he worked for the club and everybody knows Ancelotti – he has won everything. “He gave us his experience and he gave a sense of calmness to the team." Digne also opened up about his ambition to become one of best full-backs in Europe. “Why not? I try to do my best for the team and the most important aspect is the team and winning the game." He also added that he's excited aboout what's coming for Everton in the future: “We are building something and I hope we can get there.” Source- talkSPORT
