European giants enter competition for Man Utd target Rasmus Hojlund

European giants Paris Saint-Germain have entered the race for Manchester United's priority target Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.

The Ligue 1 champions are reportedly in contact with Hojlund's club representatives. Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag's side are further advancing in their pursuit of the 20-year-old. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are set to send their first official bid for the Atalanta star to avoid any late hijacking in their transfer plans.

As per The Independent, the Red Devils are currently engaged in negotiations concerning the distribution of add-ons in the transfer fee. Erik ten Hag has made signing a striker a top priority, and he has already secured Mason Mount's early arrival. Additionally, the club is closing in on the acquisition of goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan.

Latest reports indicate that United are making progress in their pursuit of Hojlund, with a potential agreement with the Serie A club drawing closer. The Premier League side are looking to finalize a deal for approximately £60 million to secure the talented forward.
