Arsenal and Manchester United are awaiting the draw for the Europa League group stage on August 30.
The Gunners enter the Europa League for the third consecutive year and they will be joined by Red Devils. Both sides lost out to Chelsea and Tottenham in last season’s race for the top four. Besides that, Arsenal defeated in the Europa League final by Chelsea and were resigned to another year in Europe’s secondary competition.

Teams from the same nation in different pots cannot be drawn into the same group. Pots 2, 3 and 4 are decided by the clubs’ UEFA coefficient, which ranks their European performance over the last five years.
The draw for the group stage will take place in Monaco, on Friday at 1.00pm BST.
