The highly-anticipated game of the Euro 2020 group stage is finally here, as France and Germany are set to face each other on Tuesday night, at the Allianz Arena.
The two recent World Cup champions are included in the toughest and the strongest group, alongside Euro 2016 champions Portugal and Hungary.
France are heading into the Euros without any loss in their last six games, with only a draw. Meanwhile Germany have won just three out of their last six matches, with two defeats and a draw.
Ahead of the game France coach Didier Deschamps said: "It's a massive game to start with. It's a massive game for us but also for the Germans, because we are both among the top European nations. The objective is to be effective in both boxes, because that's where the game will be decided."
While, Germany boss Joachim Low said: "You can feel positive tension in the air and anticipation. I really thought 'finally!' when I got on the bus to come here. I’m calm, relaxed, and think that in the last 14 days we have done what we wanted to. Tomorrow it’ll be important to see what the team has shown in those couple of weeks against such a top-class team like France."
