ESPN: Why Liverpool won’t beat Bayern Munich

Liverpool won’t beat Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League, according to ESPN pundit Craig Burley. “We can talk down Bayern Munich all we want, but if Liverpool play the way they’ve played in the last two or three weeks, they won’t win over 180 minutes,” he told ESPN FC. “They’ve got no [Virgil] Van Dijk for the first game, they’ve got [Joel] Matip who’s probably gonna have to play, they’ve still got no Trent Alexander-Arnold at the moment, [Joe] Gomez is out. “So it’s not as if they’re exactly flying at the moment either.” Liverpool are now second in  Premier League table, however, they have one game to be played, meanwhile, Bayern Munich are in third place.
