Eric Dier says Tottenham teammate is "going through a difficult time"

Tottenham man Eric Dier has opened up on his teammate Dele Ali, claiming he is going through a tough time. Alli has been currently left out of England national team squad, after losing his place in Spurs starting line-up under the club boss Jose Mourinho. Speaking about former Milton Keynes Dons man, Dier told he believes the 24-year-old is a good player and hopes his form gets better in the coming weeks and moths. He told The Guardian: “I wasn’t in it (England team) for a year and a bit. It’s definitely possible for someone of his quality. “He’s still a fantastic player. You don’t lose that overnight. He’s going through a difficult time. There’s always going to be moments like these. “Everyone has them in their careers and Dele’s got a fantastic personality. I’m sure he’s going to get down to work and try and get back to where he was a year ago or so. “It’s really in his hands and I’m looking forward to seeing his reaction over the next couple of months. I’m sure he’s going to be highly motivated.”
