Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford will wear number one shirt by England national team for this summer’s World Cup. Pickford has less experience than it was expected for the candidates to wear number 1 shirt, however, manager Gareth Southgate indicated that Pickford would start the opening World Cup game against Tunisia on 18 June. The 24-year-old has only made his third international appearance when he started against Nigeria (2-1).
