Xavi has opened up on Memphis Depay's future at Barcelona amid the latest Newcastle United links.
The Dutch attacker has been reportedly targeted by the Magpies for the upcoming transfer window. Despite the talks, Xavi has now claimed that he doesn't expect Memphis to leave La Liga side this January.
“I don’t want Memphis or any other player to leave in January. I think it’s gonna be a quiet window for us,” the manager said.
According to the sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle have never made any bid for Barcelona star.
