'Wouldn’t be surprised' - Director of sport says Spurs could be player’s destination

Watford chief Cristiano Giaretta believes Dušan Vlahović has chances to join Tottenham Hotspur in the near future. Vlahović's current deal at Fiorentina ends in 2023, and the striker has confirmed he won't renew his contract with them. The striker was linked with a move to Spurs last summer and has reportedly remained on their wishlist Antonio Conte's arrival. Speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Hornets director of sport has responded to a question asking whether Vlahović can be the ‘right man for Tottenham’.

“Conte is a pretentious coach. From an attacker, he also wants running, defensive phase," Giaretta answered.   "Vlahovic is complete, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him at Tottenham.”
