Wolves eye £24m Premier League rival player as top transfer target following latest update

Wolves find themselves in a promising position after a successful start to the season, surpassing pre-season expectations. However, despite the positive trajectory, there is a shared belief that there is untapped potential for improvement, particularly in the area of attacking prowess within the penalty box.

While Sasa Kalajdzic has performed adequately, there is room for enhancement, and Matheus Cunha, while skillful, doesn't fit the mold of a traditional number nine.

This underscores the pressing need for the Wanderers to secure a new striker. As the January transfer window looms just over two weeks away, an intriguing prospect has emerged in the form of the 22-year-old.

The opening up of this option presents Gary O'Neil's team with a potential solution to bolster their attacking capabilities and address the missed opportunities that have plagued them in front of goal.

Why Wolves should target Armando Broja in January?

Wolves urgently need a strong number nine, and TeamTalk reports that Chelsea's Armando Broja, now on the sale list, could be the perfect fit.

Despite limited playing time at Stamford Bridge, the Albania international has shown his skills with goals and assists. The Midlands outfit expressed interest in him in 2022, and his standout season at Southampton makes him an attractive option.

With a reasonable price tag, Broja could be a valuable addition to the Wanderers' striker options.

How much is Armando Broja worth?

Negotiating with Chelsea is unlikely to result in a budget-friendly deal, as they are known for being skilled sellers. With a current market value of £24.1 million according to Transfermarkt, the 22-year-old would be a great acquisition considering his significant potential.

Under Mauricio Pochettinio, he currently earns £40,000 per week, a salary that Wolves could easily match if he were to transfer.
