"Why would you": Ian Wright questions £44m man's future commitment towards Liverpool

Ian Wright has questioned why Mo Salah would want to leave Liverpool amid claims on his future uncertainty at the club. Liverpool are leading the Premier League table, despite the team's injury crisis. But the current result didn't stop the talks that Salah is "unhappy" at Anfield. And speaking about the situation, former Arsenal man has shared his thoughts on Premier League Productions, saying: “I was saying why would you want to leave, at the moment, for reasons other than personal because you want to go as we saw with Ronaldo go to Real Madrid,” said Wright. “It’s something that he wanted to do. It was a dream. “But for me, at the moment, when you listen to Jurgen Klopp. He sounds very confident in the fact that he’s quite happy." On someone paying big-money for Salah, he added: “Especially in the pandemic,” added Wright. “You would probably be more afraid if we were in normal times because Real Madrid and Barcelona would be able to have the funds. “You look at it now and think ‘how would they finance that deal?’”
