Sergio Ramos has officially joined PSG on Thursday, as the club announced.
After glorious years at Real Madrid, the 35-year-old centre-back decided to leave his club and didn't sign a new contract at the Spanish capital.
According to
Goal, Arsenal offered an astonishing £30million contract to Ramos, which eventually got turned down. The Spaniard only opted against joining the Gunners on account of their failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Manchester City also proposed a three-year contract and were prepared to offer Ramos the option of joining their MLS sister club, New York City, at the end of that period, however Ramos eventually settled on joining Paris Saint-Germain.
