"Why did I come here?" Onana loses temper as he wasn't picked to play for Cameroon

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana reportedly lost his temper and made some angry comments after not being picked to start for Cameroon's opening game in AFCON.

Onana traveled 5,000 miles to join Cameroon's squad for the match. Pre-match footage captured a discussion between Onana and Diouf, with reports suggesting Diouf had to step in to calm the frustrated goalkeeper after being omitted from the squad.

'If I wasn’t going to play or make the team, then why did I come here on a private jet?" shouted the player as per Daily Mail

Foggy conditions forced Onana to divert to Abidjan instead of landing in Yamoussoukro for Cameroon's Group C match. The goalkeeper, aware that Ondoa would start, completed the last 150 miles of his 5,000-mile journey just three hours before the 5 pm kick-off at Stade Charles Konan Banny.

Despite being excluded from the squad, the Cameroonian keeper has a complex relationship with Cameroon boss Rigobert Song and president Samuel Eto'o, having been sent home from the World Cup camp 14 months ago.
