Manchester United have several injury concerns ahead of their Premier League return on Saturday and one of them is Lisandro Martinez.
Lisandro had been called up to the Argentina squad for the September World Cup 2026 Qualifiers, however, he didn't take part neither of the two games.
Before heading to join up with his national team, Martinez suffered an injury during Manchester United's defeat against Arsenal, which was later confirmed that he sustained a foot injury.
Amid injury scare, Lionel Scaloni provided an update on the player and said: "Licha, as you know, had an issue with his feet. In their last game [Arsenal vs Manchester United], he was in pain and went out [was subbed] for precaution. They have done studies and he’s well."
Manchester United return to Premier League action on September 16 with a game against Brighton and according to Evening Standard, Martinez could be fit for the game.
