Manchester City celebrated an important 2 - 1 win over Leeds United, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League table to four points.
City's captain, Ilkay Gundogan, scored both goals in the first half of the clash but missed a penalty that would have given him his first career hat-trick. Instead, Rodrigo scored for the Whites in the final minutes of the game, making for a tense finish.
The Citizens' boss Pep Guardiola was angry that Gundogan had taken the penalty instead of usual taker Erling Haaland.
The Germany international was substituted a few minutes before the end of the game and did not receive a handshake from the manager. He also chose not to interact with others on the pitch after the game, quickly heading down the tunnel.
Speaking about Guardiola's dressing room reaction to the penalty miss, Gundoan later told BBC Sport: “First he showed to Erling [Haaland] that he was quite mad about that, and then also he had a go at me. It is what it is at the end."
Despite the drama, City were able to hold on for the win and maintain their hopes of winning the treble.
